The original design of the home was done by Arthur Smith, with assistance from his wife Dorothy, in 1951.
Nehil Lumber built the home. They had an in-house architect, Jack Shetterly, who worked with the Smiths for the fine tuning of the plans and all of the detailed drawings.
The only change to the foot print of the house was an addition of a family room off the formal dining room added by the second owners.
