Building designed by Francis “Red” Warner AIA in 1977.
This is an example of late-mid-century modern architecture.
The former Reliable Heating building was originally constructed by Dow Chemical. The old building was at the corner of Lyon and Indian street. The “greenbelt” project needed to have the old building site for roadway changes near the Loon’s stadium. The objective was to construct a new building to the owners specifications and trade it for the old building. Original owners were Otto and Hazel Haddix.
