In 1958 Blackhurst Reality engaged Alden B. Dow’s firm, known then as Alden B. Dow, Inc., to create five modest house designs they could modify and duplicate. In total, 14 homes were built using one of these designs, with modifications for the future owners.
This house was designed in 1959 and built in 1961.
